Hello. Lowfire is a small independent studio making warm games to play close together: on one couch, around one screen, in the same room.

This site is our new home. Here is what’s on it today.

Hearth 1.1 for Windows

Hearth is the launcher every Lowfire game installs and updates through. It is small (one 1.3 MB app), needs no account, and works offline. It downloads only the parts of a game that changed, checks every file it writes, and rolls back an update that goes wrong, automatically.

It also gives each game a proper home: its settings and graphics presets, light tweaks, mods with load order and conflict warnings, logs, crash reports and a one-click support zip for when you need help.

Download Hearth. It runs on Windows 10 and 11 and needs nothing else installed.

Our first game is being made right now. We’ll announce it here, in Hearth and in our RSS feed when it’s ready to show.

No trackers

The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, and neither does Hearth. Downloads are counted per file and day, never per person. The privacy policy explains exactly what our software does.
