Check a download

Every file has a SHA-256 checksum, shown next to it on this page. To check the file you downloaded, open PowerShell in your Downloads folder and run:

Get-FileHash .\Hearth-Setup-*.exe -Algorithm SHA256

The hash it prints must match the one here. Hearth and our installers also check every game file they write, so a damaged download can't install.

About the Windows warning

Our installers aren't code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may say it "protected your PC" the first few times. Choose More info, check the file name, then Run anyway. If anything about a download looks off, don't run it and tell us.

Downloads come from cdn.lowfire.ly, our own download server. We count downloads per file and day, never per person.

All versions

Older versions stay available. Hearth can also roll a game back to its previous version.
