Hearth, Lowfire Setup and the Patcher
Written by Lowfire in C# on .NET Framework 4.8 and WPF, which are part of Windows (© Microsoft). They contain no other third-party code. The update engine’s chunking follows the published FastCDC algorithm (Xia et al., USENIX ATC 2016), implemented by us.
Our games
Our games are made with the Godot Engine (© 2014-present Godot Engine contributors, © 2007-2014 Juan Linietsky and Ariel Manzur), released under the MIT License. Godot itself includes third-party components such as FreeType, HarfBuzz, ICU, mbedTLS, libpng, libwebp, zlib and Zstandard under their own permissive licences; the full list and texts come with each game, and are on Godot’s licence page.
Each game’s page and its own licences folder list any further assets, music or libraries it uses, with credit to their
authors.

The Lowfire brand
The Lowfire and Hearth names, the L-hearth mark and both wordmarks are ours and aren’t covered by any open licence. See the press kit for how you can use them when writing about us.
