Cookie policy

Last updated 26 October 2026

Template, not yet reviewed by a lawyer. It describes what our website and software really do, but the wording still needs legal review, and items in [brackets] are placeholders to fill in.

lowfire.ly sets no cookies, and neither does our download server. We don’t use local storage, fingerprinting, pixels or any other way to recognise you between visits, so there’s no cookie banner to click through.

The one exception: security cookies from our host

Our site and downloads run on Cloudflare. If Cloudflare’s security systems think a request might be automated or malicious, they may set a strictly necessary cookie (such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance) to tell real visitors from bots, or to remember that you passed a challenge. These cookies:

  • are set only when needed for security, and expire quickly (about 30 minutes for __cf_bm);
  • aren’t used to track you across sites or for advertising or analytics;
  • are strictly necessary, so the law doesn’t require consent for them.

See Cloudflare’s cookie policy for details.

Hearth and our games

Hearth and our games aren’t websites and don’t use cookies. What they store on your computer is listed in the privacy policy.

If this changes

If we ever add anything that needs your consent, we’ll ask first, and update this page before it goes live.
