These terms apply to lowfire.ly, cdn.lowfire.ly and the downloads on them (the “services”), run by [Lowfire legal entity name], [Registered address], [Country of registration] (“Lowfire”, “we”). Our software has its own licence terms: the game EULA for our games and the Hearth licence for Hearth, Lowfire Setup and the Patcher. By using the services you agree to these terms.
Using the services
You can browse the site and download our software for your own personal use. Please don’t:
- try to break, overload or get around the security of the services, or scrape them in a way that degrades them for
others (the release API at
cdn.lowfire.ly/api/v1is public; reasonable automated use is fine); - re-host or redistribute our installers or game files as if they were yours, or modify them and pass them on (link to our download pages instead);
- use the services for anything unlawful.
We may block access that harms the services or other people.
Downloads and updates
We work hard to keep downloads safe: every file is published with its SHA-256 checksum, and Hearth and our installers verify files before using them. Older versions stay available where we can, but we may withdraw a version, for example if it has a serious bug or a security problem.
Our content
The site, our logos, the Lowfire and Hearth names, our games and their art belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You can use material from our press kit to write or make videos about us and our games. For anything else, ask at legal@lowfire.ly. Fonts and open-source components are under their own licences; see licences and credits.
Links
We link to other sites (stores, video sites, Cloudflare’s policies). We’re not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Availability and liability
We provide the services as they are and can’t promise they’ll always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we’ll say so on the site.
Law
These terms are governed by [the laws of the country of registration], and disputes go to [the courts of that country], except that if you’re a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring claims there.
